This guy has only shown QQ…but when showing this QQ he did not have to display his 3bet range or 4bet range.

So not much on him but he has 3bet about 3times since coming to the table and opened in position when he can. He has been at the table for about 25 hands.

WWYD?

Did I play this right? Do I not play well against his 4bet range?

i prefer flatting since I like to polarize my 3bet range, but 3b/fold can’t be bad.  you’re in position so you can take a flop and play in position imo.  as played, easy fold to the 4b.

I agree with this.  Bird, why such a small 3 bet size?  If you’re going to 3 bet here I think you should make it bigger so that you can’t just get flatted with almost his entire range making it impossible to read his hand later on.

this.

and yeah, with ~30BB and no 3b history just flat. we have no idea how villain reacts to 3bets and turning 99 into a bluff when we have position just doesn’t seem that attractive to me.

This is just coming to me now since watching your Vid hagbard, but we leave some hands in his open range when flatting? Thus keeping the pot smaller and less likely to jeopardize our stack……that the right mindset?

I flat in position.  No need to turn your hand into a bluff if you’re not getting it in preflop if he 4bets and without a lot of history getting it in pre is bad.
