Villain is 45/15 over 55 hands. Should I reraise preflop or is a flat fine here? The weak bet on the flop looks weak, but with my hand I think I want to get to showdown on a non-threatening board. When he checks the flop is the check behind the best option or should I be able to take away the pot from hands like AJ+, KJ+ with a bet? On the river I feel I'm getting the right odds even though I feel he hit the Ace.

I think a flat is fine here preflop…..I think your flop like is fine as well. I think I'm bet folding the turn as I can't see him check/calling a lot of hands that you have beat other then maybe 77. When he bets so small on river I'm calling as well getting such a good price but I think we are beat quite often here. Could even bluff/raise the river cause you would think if he hit the A he would be betting more for value and it's going to be tough for him to call a raise on the river with QJ or TJ.
Well its a non threatning board right now, but there are two cards left to come and an obv monkey on the other end so imo you need a plan on the flop. When you called, was it because you thought you had the best hand or to try and take it away on the turn? I think if i call his bet on the flop then he checks the blank on the turn, I am betting almost always. I actually like the way you played it PF and on the flop, floating can be very profitable vs this type of villian. I definitely think calling the flop is ok, but imo you have to fire that turn, about 2/3 pot. On the river you are beat a ton but cannot fault calling him off there as played, such a small bet and he may not have the A as often as you think with that bet.

You never want to call with the intention of taking it away on the turn against someone running 45/15 unless you can see that their fold to turn c-bet % is very high. Stats lean toward opponent being a massive call station in my opinion so running bluffs and semi-bluffs is -EV.
I also don't float that many flops at 100/200 to try and take it away on the turn because you need to invest a decent amount of money and the payoff isn't often worth it.
