No history with villain. I thought the river was a value bet but the more I think about it the less sure I am about my river bet. Do you ck behind on the river thinking you're not getting called by worse or go for thin value? When villain ck's turn and ck/shoves river what range do you put him on?

28 BB's effective this puts us in a tough spot. 3b>flatting because we don't want to invite everyone else in the pot with a mid pair. You are obv way ahead of his opening range as well. I think you need to 3b bigger though. By making it that size I think he's flatting a lot. I probably make it like 950. If he jams we can fold and still have over 20 BB's. As played I would've checked back river as 77 or 66 are probably the only hands we get value against. Seems like villain played a set like a moron.

Villian seems to have AJ here imo. Got stubborn pre, but flatted instead of 4-betting. River is an easy ck/c for him, because after we check back turn, AJ is almost always good here. I know I know, ranging should include a “range” of hands, but only other hand that remotly makes sense(to me) is 67……just my 2cents though.

(also would help to have HUD stats on villian/you, or even just how “active” you'd been)

Thx guys. I didn't really like my river bet after I thought about it. When he ck/shoved the river I was really confused lol. Ended up calling and he turned over A3o for a wheel 🙂
