UTG+1, UTG+2, and BTN limp in, all with about 30BBs early/mid level of a $50 tourney, I'm in the BB with 99 and 40BBs. All three players are loose/cally/fishy.

Do you raise out of the blinds here against three players who are stations when so many board textures are terrible? If you do raise, how big? If you check back, are we just set mining/giving up in most spots?

As played, I raise 4x and all three players call, pot is 16.5bb going to the flop and they have approx 26bb effective in their stacks, we cover them all. Flop 442 rainbow. Bet sizing here/turn?

I'd probably play this hand the same as you would like 67s or something like that in this position and just check back then hope the flop comes out nice or you hit your 9 and fold out to action if the flop  doesn't look inviting because your position is so bad and stacks might get awkward if they are fishy and all call your raise.

As played, you have to keep up the aggression and fire like 9BB's and I wouldnt be folding to a jam.

this. thats about as good as it gets when you have 99, i dont really see 55-88 folding here so i would bet-call

^^

if u still decide to raise pre, raise 5-7x since there r 3 limpers and ur oop. this would thin out the nr of opponents. cbet almost any flop and slow down if you get called on a flop w paint.

but this wont happen if you just check behind and see a cheap flop and still can get value on a low flop or if you make a set.
