Hero?

We are in the early stages so no specific reads yet.  I am trying to find spots to three barrel – and “profitable” spots to make medium strength hands such as a pair into bluffs.  If there aren't enough hands that beat us that fold (which may be the case since we would only fold out tens and weak aces that were drawing or floating) then does it make sense to “blocker” bet to keep him from pushing us off with his bwy/single spade combo hands?  Is all of this just to hopeful and a check-fold is in order?  I thought this was a challenging hand. thanks.

At this point I think you’re far enough behind his range to just check-fold. The turn and river were both really bad for you. It’s OK to get bluffed occasionally, and who’s to say he won’t raise your blocking bet as a bluff anyway? I think check-calling the turn is a lot better than betting, also.

I would play this the same but c/f river as Andrew said check/calling turn would prolly be the better option then c/f river

Ingame I'd c/f turn no need to fight for a small pot imo.

I'm intresting to see why we should c/c turn though?

Strongly disagree. If betting is +EV, you shouldn't give up just because the pot is small. The nice thing about fighting for small pots is that your risk is also small.

4 way pot, first to act, no reads, our c-bets get called by two guys and the turn completes a flush draw. I don’t really see the point of trying to bluff our way to the chips in this spot at this early stage, plus their combined range has us crashed anyway. I’d just check-fold the turn and move to the next hand.
