2nd hand at FT, I was paying attencion on this, but no reads so far. This is a rebuy €5 rebuy I register by mistake, thought was a FO… well embarassed

I wasn´t sure what to do here, before I was going to set mine, but I remember my coach said to not set value with this kind of stack this late, cause the chips worth  more now… Didn´t want to 3bet fold or 3bet call either lol… I actually folded here… What should I have done?

Folding here is…not good. I imagine shoving preflop is probably the best line – ordinarily it would be a 3-bet/call in most cases but with ICM in play you don’t really want to induce action. I don’t think having a flatting range at this stack size in the SB is a great idea most of the time, and you’re certainly not just set-mining with a pair as strong as 99. If you’re playing 99 purely to set-mine, then either your opponent is a huge nit, or you are. 🙂
