In 3 rebuy with a top 5 stack. About 45 players in tourney. I have 90k with 1k blinds. I have been very aggressive opening. I think I opened 3 of the last 4 hands. I then wake up with AK suited and do my 2.1 k open and villian insta shoves 65k??!!  I have very nice position in tourney. Do I need to call this or is it bad to pass because so many bbs?? Thankyou for comments

This is my first post!!!!!!!!!!!laugh

I would probaply call but would find my self on a flip.

dont think you will have to call. You can easily fold and have a good stack. If you think the Villian is not 3 betting light you should be folding especially if you feel you have an edge against the field.

depends greatly on table dynamic. i can do both, especially if you're on a site like bovada where in a ton of buyins youll occasionally see the spaz shove with A8 K9 stuff, as if to say “I want to win a hand now and this is how I do it!”, or you could see someone greatly overplaying a hand they don't want to play postflop against you if you've been aggressive, like AQs, 88-JJ. Or you can see the same villain's spaz shove with their super monsters like AA, KK, AK.

This is such a gross spot, especially because you opened the last 3 out of 4 hands, now you wake up with a real one and some guy shoves 65bb.  I ran this in poker stove giving him the top 7% (88+, AJo+, ATs+) and you're 55% against that range.  I think this is a call.  Would he really do that with AA or KK?  I have seen guys do weird things like that w/ AA and KK, but it's few and far between …

If you call and win you have 155bb+ and if you lose you have 25bb.  I might fold AKo here, but with AKs I would go for it.  You really put yourself in contention to win this thing with that many chips, and you still have a stack to work with if you lose.  I would do it.

Thanks for the post laugh
