Was wondering what eveyone thought if this mvoe.  It ended up being the wrong one but I think it may be the right one more times than not.  I would think with all the dead money in there it wasn't that bad just ran into the top of someone's range…  Of course, this probably means it's aweful.

You did what I did the other night and it cost me big, I lost my final table hope! You had the right idea on the isolation but bad bet sizing. I learned my lesson by shoving pocket 66's to isolate the shorty and of course the only person with a few more chips then me calls with KK, I went from 4/49 to busto. This was a terrible move on my behalf. I would suggest a bet of 2x or 3x of the shove depending on your chip stack, in this case 3x would not be a problem. If you get a caller be worried and if you do not improve on the flop be prepared to lay it down. If he comes over the top or shoves then I would probably fold with your holdings. . I am hoping a couple of pros or experience players will post, because I am interesting in proper bet sizing as well.

I’d probably just flat. You’re oop with AQ and it’s really early. If you want to try to iso the allin player, I’d go to about 700 and be prepared to fold when the guy who min 3 bet you shoves. I don’t see how shoving 100+ BB can ever be profitable here.

This is just a call and proceed with caution.   No reason to jam so deep here when you only get called by better.  Watch a few Wein vids on early stage play, he explains how to play hands like AQ from OOP very well.  In fact he made a theory vid on the subject.  Helped my game tremendously.
