I think once antes kick in I'm more comfortable shoving this hand in this position, but here I just think I'm going to pick up 558 chips or be called by a dominating hand. If 88 is too weak to shove here, what's the weakest hand we would shove? TT? Villain is 15/8 over 13 hands, so not a great sample size!

13 hands isnt much but it doesnt appear he is lagtardfish so far. 88 is right on the edge imo and he is opening from MP1 so its doubtful 22-66 so I think your either slightly ahead or behind. I think it may be better to simply pass on such a tough spot when we arent forced to play for our tourney life just yet.
