Hey

New to the table so not much reads.

Sb – decent ish reg , which i have some history with , villain know’s i’m an aggressive opponent. V has extremely been active, raising a bunch and tends to call 3-bets a bit too often when getting bad odds on the call.

no reads on the other opponents.

what’s the best line on the flop and why?

cheers

I think your Kspade7spade is well-disguised here. You haven't shown any aggression so far and I think there is no need to show aggression now, when you haven't made your hand. Your raise is not going to get any Jack to fold, so, you aren't likely to take the pot down with a raise. I would call here and evaluate on the turn. Likely that drawing hands will check-fold the turn if they don't hit.

I think ck/shoving here is best. Theres 2500 in the middle and effective stacks are less than twice that, so in my mind all villain's with around that spr are in a tough spot if theyre randos with rando understanding of poker. To be honest, I'm not sure what any of them are flatting with, but they can't be too in love with it. Against all Jx except AJ and KJ you're doing really well against and wouldn't mind that they never fold, if it's not possible to get them to fold later, because of the dead money already in the pot. Like I don't mind chopping the 2k in the middle assuming one of the 500's never folds and we both put in our stacks. No one should have a set here as played, two pair is unlikely. I think if you shove and get called by like Jx and T9o you're in a really good spot equity-wise, being the actual favorite. Calling can't be the worst because you close action, getting basically direct odds, but at these low sprs I'm guessing you're always gonna have to fold the turn. The only disaster here is the ace high flush draw, but that's so little part of anyone's range relative to the rest of the stuff I'm guessing they limp with.

The thing is if hero shoves on the flop , our hand does become face up but at the same time hero very well be check shoving the top of my range here as well not only flush draws. we'd like too do this for balance and also to protect our hand from a range of hands that may have decent equity against our value range!

so ya hero could easily have a hand like J5/J8/85/ and maybe even 55 which is icing on the cake. We do have fold equity here for sure , if we do get called we are not in terrible shape as you metioned Jacob.

I do reckon villians calling range will be something like A2s-A9s (spades) , QTs, Q9s, QJo,KJo, JTo ,JTs, J9s T9s, 55.

Against this range hero has around 41% equity , so taking a flip here is not terrible at all with the added fold equity we have.

that + youre getting 40ish% of what's already in the middle essentially, a fine prospect. I don't think your hand is face up really because much of your continuing range should be ck/shoving here. In my opinion, if you flip your hand over as you check/shove all in, you're still gonna profit overall on it because you chop up the dead money in some manner, and there's so much of it already relative to the stacks that it becomes really hard for you not to be profitable for getting it in.
