80 person $80 live tourny with good structure, start with 16k in chips 40 minute levels, most everyone seems to be pretty competent.
I have 17k in chips, blinds are 100/200 no ante and am dealt AKs in the BB.
UTG aggro spewy late 20 year old limps 200 with 20bb
MP kind of donkish guy with poker stars jersey and around 20k in chips raises to 800
Button older solid dude with 25k in chips who plays a ton of tournies and seems to have alright success flats the 800
SB folds and it is to me AKs, as I said I have around 17k in chips, what is my line, ship it, 3bet, flat?
Assuming I 3bet to 2,400, if MP guy ships, I am calling I assume?

i would possibly make it a bit bigger than 2400 given that you are OOP, but i would probably raise-call about 3200.
If you squeeze make it bigger like Benny said. I honestly don’t mind a flat and trying to get massive value post if you smash a flop. If UTG raises after you flat then you get to see the rest of the action before u act and u can have much less invested. If you flat and have to fold to crazy action who cares, it’s just one hand. I think it can have so much value post flop in a multiway pot.
