How should I have played this hand differently? JJamesFullJJ was playing pretty loose. His stats were 68/38 over 50 hands

On the flop I cbet less here, I'd probably make it '1565' (or an amount close to this), that way if villian calls and if I plan to double barrel, I don't have to double barrel quite as much on the turn.
Having said that, I think I fire 1 barrel on the flop and if Villian calls, then give up on the turn against a LAG. Saving valuable chips. You've fired 13200 chips into the pot and only have pocket 7's…. vs a LAG…….. 1200 Preflop + 1565 as a cbet on the flop and if he still wants to call, I put the gun back in the holster and save some chips, having put only 2765 into the pot instead of 13200 (20% of your stack).
I hate giving up pots, but 77 isn't a hand to bring to war vs a LAG in this spot.
I appreciate what you're trying to rep here (AQ etc), but make a note and play the hand the same way when you do have AQ etc…

i agree that this is a check-fold board – think about villain's flop calling range – most/all broadways, aces, queens, some higher pocket pairs, flush draws, basically everything is calling at least 1 street here, a bunch of it has you beat already and the rest you are flipping against.
there isn't much of his range that a cbet folds out here, except maybe 99 and down, and possibly hands like KT and KJ but if any of those broadway hands have a spade they are probably floating because you guys are super deep.
easy check fold imo.
Question one: How is everyone so deep at 300/600? Is it FTOPS?
Question two: What's your table image?
Im going to be in the minority here and say if our image is decent, stop after the second barrell. Villain is obv fishy so he probably doesn't have an Ace. Also, the villain is fishy so he probably needs two barrells laydown a hand. Think the flop bets size is fine, and i'd make the turn bet even more so I'm comfortable giving up if called or raised.
If we are playing laggy also, I'd prolly ck/give up.

Check/Fold turn and/or River, your just bleeding chips otherwise. He called your bet preflop, which looks strong since you were MP1 and followed up by calling your C-bet; at this point, I assumed he hit the flop.
"Your either in Sheen's Korner or your with the trolls."
Against opponents like this, I am much more inclined to chk/fld. I guess c-betting the flop is fine, but I definitely give up when called. Those types of players dont like folding, he probably calls you down with a queen, even if you triple barrel. So, I think you need to adjust to those tendencies. Although its sometimes hard to do, I try to avoid bluffing those spewy guys, and when I hit, they happily stack of with middle pair: Fastplay your big hands and dont spew into the station.

I probably just shut dwon on that flop. God bless him if he's floating. It's just not worth it, more than anything. You're both 100bbs deep. Let him have the small ones and win the big ones from him. Risk/reward
while i think there is merit to cbettng this flop, it certainly isn't bad to just check/give up.
definitely stop betting after he calls flop.
