This hand is from a $60/4k 6-max. Guy on my direct right i've played like 20 hands with. I've got the best of him multiple times out of the last 20 hands. He is running 34/24.

I'm torn on this hand so i'd just like some thoughts on it.

Love the line actually. Turn is a great card for you IMO because there are many more K's in your range than his and you can rep diamonds more easily (based on flop action). I think you are floating with Kxd a reasonable amount of the time here as well. My only issue with your raise on the turn and then jam is the sizing. When he clicks it back to 1994 I just feel like he's never folding even though your line looks nutty. I'm sure villain assumes you are getting it in with Kxd so I doubt he ever folds two pairs and sets I don't think. I don't think he has flush since he raised flop. I think your line reps a flush more. Would love this play more if you had 2k more to pile on the turn. Bottom line here is always have a plan Ryan. Don't be just a “button-clicker”. wink

The nut flush draw would likely raise this flop, and/or especially if it's a combo draw like A2dd, A4dd, A7dd, 87dd, etc.

If it's a made flush on the turn and is facing a raise, he may think we have AdK and try to get it in on the turn with us.

Seems like a really unnecessary bluff at 25/50.

Was villain a reg?I think this is just unneccessary spot to take at this level and with your edge on the field. Villains range when raising flop for value is 2 pair, sets, ace high fd's/combo draws, and sometimes over pairs like 77-1010. He could just be raising with air because that flop misses you a decent amount of the time but that seems less likely. Im usually just going to pitch this to his turn bet because I don't expect him to fold many hands that he is betting. Even if he has a non flush hand like a set, two pair, staight (less likely), or like a pair with a diamond (99d) he will proably peel the river. His 3 bet on the turn just looks super valuey and I dont ever expect him to be folding to a shove. Worst thing is we are making this play drawing dead most of the time when he calls.

Doubt Ill get much more than this. Basically, I agree with you guys. But in the moment I turned into a clickmonster and just clicked the all in button. It was a really good time to do it game flow wise, but I didn't have enough chips to do it. He actually folded though.

brutal line imo – no offense

we have heaps of chips and a soft target on our right, oh – it's 6max! Seems like a mint situation, why blunder it for the sake of an open + cbet?

I fold pre/fold to flop cr/fold to turn c/r

Sorry to come across so negative,, but i just think it's 100bbs pre ante in 6max is not a great time to dust off the old h/s ruler and measure off w/this guy. don't open 97s utg if you are looking to be soo sticky post (and usually oop). opening here is fine if you're paying attention and on your game. I fold this hand from MP full ring all day on weekends 12+ tabling.

There's several Kx hands that could potentially be c/ring you OTF.. when he c/r again OTR it scream set/Kx hands that he's not looking to fold. I'm lacking table dynamics + history, hard so its hard to guess what lvls you two were on.

Hate the line vs. fish, but it'd prolly be a great line vs me post ante. def looks uber strong. solid share.
