Ok. After reading the article and watching a video, I figured this might be a good spot to practice the merging concept.
Villain had been opening a lot. If I understand the merging concept correctly, this is a spot where we can bet turn and shove any river.
1. Is this correct?
2. If so, what's our sizing?
I now know this is not the spot for this move. I think we are looking for a spot where
1. We are the pre flop aggressor
2. We cbet
3. We have a draw and a pair by the turn
4. And over card hits the river at which point we shove whether or not out draw gets there
This is a flat pre/float flop/evaluate turn I think.
So I punted $60 for the sake of learning. How was your morning?
