Ok. After reading the article and watching a video,
I figured this might be a good spot to practice the merging concept.
Villain had been opening a lot.

[converted_hand][hand_history]Merge, $10 Buy-in (150/300 blinds, 30 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #14801961

CO: 8,705 (29 bb)
BTN: 19,068 (63.6 bb)
SB: 20,173 (67.2 bb)
Hero (BB): 12,313 (41 bb)
MP: 17,347 (57.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Jclub Tclub
2 folds, BTN raises to 600, SB folds, Hero raises to 1,700, BTN calls 1,100

Flop: (3,700) 7heart 9diamond Qheart (2 players)
Hero bets 1,850, BTN calls 1,850

Turn: (7,400) 6spade (2 players)
Hero ?[/converted_hand]

If I understand the merging concept correctly,
this is a spot where we can bet turn and shove any river.
1. Is this correct?
2. If so, what's our sizing?

I dont know what’s wrong with the converter.

It’s a $60 and I 3bet to 1700 pre flop and he called.

I think the rest is readable.

I now know this is not the spot for this move. I think we are looking for a spot where

1. We are the pre flop aggressor

2. We cbet

3. We have a draw and a pair by the turn

4. And over card hits the river at which point we shove whether or not out draw gets there

This is a flat pre/float flop/evaluate turn I think.

So I punted $60 for the sake of learning. How was your morning?

He would probably flats 22+, A2s+, ATo+, and all broadways. Minus the hands he 4bets like TT+, AQo+, AJs+

That would be my rough guess.

There's not too much wrong 3 betting a hand like this when you're this deep vs an active opener. His flatting range is also probably wider than you listed.

Merging is when sometimes worse hands call and sometimes better hands fold. I can't think of any worse hands that can call us.
