Late stages of $580 NLHE event.

Ive been relatively aggressive at the table and taken down many pots in position unattested. Got a decent stack with a little over 90k (45BB).

Table is currently 9 hand at 1000/2000 300ante

I am located on the button. Person UTG limps UTG+2 makes it 5k to go. Folds to Hijack who calls. I look down at KQs and decide to call as welll having position and a hand that flops well. Also was curious to see what the UTG limper was going to do at this point. He smooth calls.
Making the pot 25700 if i remember correctly.

Flop falls K,2,Q rainbow.

UTG checks, UTG+2 Makes it 14500, Hijack calls. UTG+2 is a very passive older lady and hasnt mixed it up a whole lot but has the chip lead at the table with right at 100k. Hijack is a capable player from what I can tell.

At this point with 54700 in the pot. I decide to jam. UTG folds. UTG+2 tanks for 2 to 3 mins and finally makes the call. Hijack also tanks but eventually folds.

She flips over AA and peels an ace on the turn. GG me.

My question is what would your line be in this hand. How would you play it differently? Was the preflop call wrong (without being results biased)

pertty gross turn.  Just nasty unlucky.  On to the next one.  She's never folding the way it went.

Yeah the result is a bad one to say the least. But I guess Im curious is there any reason we should be seeing this flop then 3 betting to 30-35k instead of jamming? IMO I think the Villian in this hand is almost always 4bet shoving into me and the result is the same. But is there enough % of the time that she will decided to call my 3 bet on the flop giving me the opportuinty to make a lay down on the turn when the ace peels?

dont try to think results oriented. you played the hand fine, got it in when you were a  good favourite. rest is poker.

Appreciate the replies. I 100% am not trying to be results oriented. Was just seeing if there was a reason why we shouldnt be shoving on this kind of flop giving the circumstances. Thanks for all the input and good luck out there.
