Haven't played any hands with villain…unsure how to approach this spot as the raise seems strong but getting nearly 4 to 1 so do we see a flop here playing OOP? Is opening in the first place ok from EP? Now i look back i see there are a few shove stacks behind me which i wouldn't like to call off…..

Good 3bet spot for him. He could be light here but without history it is hard to determine what to do so I prefer to just fold. If he continued 3betting the button I would 4bet him to 2.2x or so the next time. Don't really want to play oop here because even when the A hits the flop it will be hard to determine where you are at in the hand.

Your stack size is fine for open, but like Danny mentioned you leave yourself open for a 3-bet, which can be difficult to interpet if you do not have a read on the villian. I usually try to limp with suited aces if my stack size permits, they can flop well sometimes and be disguised because you limped. If I am raised from behind I will decide what to do depending on the villian. With your stack size and depending on the table dynamics I would limp or fold OOP based on the information provided. For me ATs OOP is a table by table decision OOP depending on dynmanics and histories with players.

opening might be marginal imo. 35bb with tiny antes is kinda meh. as is, ez fold.

Spot sucks, but we can't do much besides fold. Opening pre is fine, there's no-one we're priced into calling off stacks against.

open is fine for me

this stack size and hand type can be an easy 4bet/get it in if theres solid history, but if villain's unknown its a pretty easy fold..

pot odds are high as you say but it can be a reverse implied spot if we hit our A or even TPTK scenario

another thing to say is a lot of people call this 3bet OOP and check fold way too often which is very good for villain obv

i can see someone like bigdog whos an excellent post flop player calling here to simply outplay villain, so if you are of the breed who love owning people post flop and dont just check give up then flatting the 3bet to do so could also be an option
