Luisa was a very tight player, and runningouts had quite a bit of history with him. We talked about this hand for a while, and finally came to a few different ways to play this. We’re curious to know what TPE does here against a tight opponant.

This is the final table by the way, with $895 up top.

Pre I make it 2.5 x or just under as its  B v B.

I like the c / c on the flop.

Turn I think I c / r all in. Dont really wana see a Q or J OTR and be in a puke spot when he jams riv + you only started the hand with 25 bb. If you were 100 deep I might c / c as you did.

Oh sorry I mis read it you were sb and he was btn.

I Jam pre here and take down the pot. A T is ahead of his btn opening range. I Jam hands like this <25 and may 3b/f if I have more but dependant on the opponent of course.

I dont like flatting pre here with the effective stack sizes.

As played tho I check raise all in on the turn  so that part of my post doesnt change, just pre flop.

If Luisa is a nit with 10% VPIP from LP I might consider folding ATo OOP (we are a 40% dog against a range of 66+, A9s+, KJs+, JTs, AJo+, KQo)

But usually I'm Fine with the call preflop.

On the flop a call is fine although I prefer a check raise to 27K and call a shove.  no need ot let her draw and if she has a better ace so be it.

As played I'm shoving the turn, Besides the hands that beat us like AK, AA and KK I see her calling with AQ, AJ, A9, maybe AdiamondXx

given you have history it would be good to have reads and dynamics posted, as whether you have been 3betting pre, raising flops, floating etc changes your percieved range for different actions.

i prob 3bet/fold pre, bet flop, bet/call turn, shove river.

folding ATo 5 handed v button is absurdly nitty, even nits steal.

even tight players open A2+ K4+ 22+ 67s+ 89o+ from the button 5 handed.

as played if he nevers gives up on river i like to c/shove river, as his 2 barrelling range should want to continue on that river. unless he is passive enough to check behind hands he should be value betting
