$5 online tourney.  9 handed. Blinds are 60 / 120 / 10.  Villian 1 is running 36/22.  He has check raised against me on a draw heavy board, which i folded with middle pair.  Haven't seen him get too out of line.

Villian 1 (UTG+1) – t3753 – 31bb

Hero (HJ) – t2975 – 24bb

Villian 2 (BB) – 3325 – 27bb

Hero is dealt 5d5h

Villian 1 raises to 240

Hero calls 240

BB defends

Flop – Ad, Ks, 2c – Pot (870)

Villian 2 Checks

Villian 1 Checks

Hero Checks

Turn – 5s – Pot (870)

Villian 2 Bets 180

Villian 1 Calls 180

Hero re-raises to 665

Villian 2 folds

Villian 1 re-raises to 1555

Hero???

At this point, i think my only move here is going all-in or fold.  I have about 2K behind.  Do you find any fold here?  My read was that he had a 2 pair or even AJ / AT that he isn't getting away from.

How is my re-raise size on the turn?  I was considering those minibets to be like they were checking and couldn't consider Villian 1 having the nuts after “checking” both streets.

I am never folding here. Thought you played hand correctly. I might Re-raise a little lighter to induce a shove.

3450 in the pot after his raise we have 2070 behind, risking 2070 to win 5520, need this to work 37,5% of the time, if he calls then 2070 to win 7590 so we need 27,27% equity. If his range is only AA, KK, AKs, AKo,22 then we have a massive 62,5% equity, if he also has Ax spades we have 68,67% equity, so fistpump shipp it.

Preflop I think this is probably a fold as your implied odds are very weak here getting only 12/1.

As played, I think I would bet the flop to try to steal it. BB checked so likely has nothing as will flick it in with a wide range preflop and when the opener checks here he is usual check folding unless he is pot controlling with a K or maybe very weak ace. I would still expect at least a cbet from opener here most of the time if he has an A or K.

Turn is obviously nice for your hand and you are correct in raising to get money into the pot. I'm never folding 555 in this spot when villain ck/raises after not betting flop. I think your sizing looks fine against 2 villains.

I'm never in a million years folding in that spot.  There's no reason for him to put you on a set and he could be getting it in with 2 pair, or even top pair thinking he was trapping, given the action.  He may even be spazzing with a single pair, a flush draw, or a pair and a flush draw.  Although, given that you are asking the question I suppose he had a better set, which is of course the absolute top of his range.  You can't worry about set over set-that's a pure cooler if it happens.
