I'm not used to playing with stacks this deep early on. Even though this is a 3 bet, I'm still getting great implied odds of 40:1, or is this still a standard fold?

Honestly most people will probably tell you that it’s terrible which in a vacuum it is. But if you’re over rolled for it and you plan on reentering 5 times or so then occasionally I’ll play like a huge fish for the first couple reentry’s and try to smash flops.

i would generally fold this as it is not sure that you will see a flop.

you can make an argument of calling if you are very good post flop. but you already said you are not that deep.

one point to call is that the hand plays very easy post flop as you only continue on nut SD, combo draws and 2P+

We are over 300 BBs deep.  That is why i was wondering if this, which i would typically fold, might become a call.

I understand it's early and we are deep, but I wouldn't want to spew too many chips away this early.  Lets say the flop is A67hhd, You aren't going anywhere…… turn is 2c, and the villian is still betting, are you still calling/raising?  Riv is a BLANK…….  Now you have to bet to win

I would play this to a limp/raise but once it's 3bet/4bet, I'm folding

its a $2 maximus ME, planning on re entering multiple times and gambling a ton beforehand for a stack is certainly ok. we are also so deep and people will hand over their stacks with overpairs on a 632 flops or 762hhh, etc. juicy implied odds imo.

That's my fault, my mind was on LIVE Borgata $3500 Main, lol.  Sorry guys.  I'm def playing suited connectors, suited A's, most pairs in this spot.

I haven't folded to a normal sized pre-antes 3 bet while deep stacked since circa 2007.

Also, in these donakments, there are many halfway decent preflop players that morph into horribad postlop players. And then there are a good amount who are bad both pre- and post- flop!

Thus, you may wish to see more flops than you would normally be inclined to see, especially if you are a good postlop player.
