Villain running 17/7/30 hands

Is over calling here correct to set or should we be 3 betting to like 650 – 700 and see where we at ?

Are we done with the hand post as played ?

Call's fine. If you 3 bet and get raised you're folding so don't do that.

Postflop fold seems fine, too. Four card straights are so obvious and rarely get paid off, plus if a D hits you can't feel great.

If you'd raised pre I'm pretty sure you'd of won this pot…a raise of about 650-700 would of more than likely isolated action if not taken it down and with another bet on the flop would of taken it down I'm pretty sure judging by the results.

I like to flat this deep for the reason I gave. It's a UTG+1 open and a UTG+2 flat. Unless I know them to be total fish I'd give a pretty good range to the first guy and not want to turn JJ into a bluff preflop.

3 betting pre for me is how i play this, simply cause i find when your this deep if raiser flats your 3 bet its AQ or AK or any pair under JJ but if the 4 bet comes its so obv to me that its KK or AA the only hand im worried about the raiser haveing here on a flat is QQ
