Hey
reads – v is loose aggressive not seen them get out of line though
i think v is opening pretty wide as the other opponent on the bb is really tight and folds a ton so i decided to 3-bet here.
Post flop , i really don't like my check , i reckon i should be betting for value/protection otf and then re-evaluating turn. We're likely to get 1-2 or streets of value with our hand. So i think front loading is the way to go here.
I just don't think KTs should be in our c/c range here , there's to many turns that can improve villians hand like JQs/KJs/KQs/78s/J8s.
thoughts please?
cheers.

I'd like to give you guys a scenaro and find out how you would play two different type of marginal hands.

lets say this was a dry flop like Kh 8s 2c (your hand KTs) , IP i'd check back and back load my value ( bet turn and river) as we're only likely to get 1-2 streets at best. My question is what about OOP? on a flop like this can we put KTs in our c/c range?  I reckon it's a good candidate for it , there would not be hardly any scare cards for us apart from an ace and if we do decide to check flop OOP we can then bet turn and river on a safe run out.

now what if we had a hand like A8o , i know if this was not a 3-bet pot i'd bet for value/protection OOP and IP , but in a 3-bet pot , ranges tend to be stronger right? unless v is calling 3-bets wide. So in a 3-bet pot i'd probably also check A8o on a K82r flop OOP and IP, though i do wonder should we betting A8o otf in a 3-bet pot as well for balance?

just a few hands which i'd like to get your thoughts on.
