5 from bubble in €100 €40k on ps.fr...good spot to 3 barrel or not?

Moved to this table about 2 orbits ago. The villain had flatted me once when he was in the sb and i was on the button. I ch an AKx flop and then bet turn which he called and then he showed down 88 on the river. I have been pretty aggro but only showed down that hand so far. Do we think this is a good spot to 3 barrel or am i gonna be up against a slow played J or an A too often?

After he calls turn bet I am giving up I think. Not a good spot to 3 barrel based on this board.

ya same, i am always betting turn but always giving up after he flats, he just doesnt have any hands in his range here that are gonna fold many rivers, and when the 5 completly bricks you are folding out 0% of hands that called turn…

side note, if he is really floaty i guess you may be able to put him on like soem kind of backdoor str8/flush draw combo, but i just dont think this is likely enough to make betting the river profitable

check give up….

Really like the line u take, looks pretty value, but villian wasnt going anywhere, and after he calls the turn, its time to give up.

But i like the play anyway, pretty forward = )
