hey

reads – intial raiser has been active , most (probably all) of the players involved in this hand have played pretty bad particular button sb and bb, they'll just limp a ton and call pre a ton and just play genreally bad

I was tempted to bet flop when checked too , i've likely got the best hand though there's still 1 player left to act and i'm not sure if i'll get called by worse here? maybe AQ or AK , may decide to c/c? though that would be a rather weird line.

I really do think though , its probably best to bet flop for thin value/ protection even if we dont have the best hand its not like we have to be right all the time here to bet for value, there's going to be a lot of bad turn cards for hero and picking up all our equity in the pot now would be nice.

I think, forgetting our hand for a second, trying to win those flops with a single flop bet is going to be hard. I can not personally think of a single bad turn card, another 2 ? Obv a 4 will be great, but I would probably have a pop at almost any turn card you can name, including a 2. I think, in the micros I play, this is going to be checked with the aim of floating and maybe getting heads up with one of them, and then taking it away on the turn no matter what pops off the deck. If no one bets, then heck we get a free card to hit our 4s yippeee. Love this.

I don’t mind the call preflop, you’re in later position and you can set mine. But you have to bet the flop here. Lead out for 45-60% pot and expect to take it down most of the time.

If stacks were more shallow i would had folded 4s, set mining ain't good, we're not going to have good implied odds plus we're only hitting a set 1 in 8 times , which ain't often.

I agree with bet flop though , i mean i cant see any good in checking here , there's going to be tons of scare cards for us , apart from a 2 or 3 imo , i think the ace hits most of the players range , for sure , so i think my check was okay on the turn.
