This is such a good flop for your 3-betting range that c-betting small with your whole range may be best. I mean, what’s your checking range here, like AT/QQ/TT/AA/occasional suited connectors?
If you do check flop, which can’t be much worse than betting and probably better against unsophisticated opponents, I’d bet turn. If you check flop, you should also have some complete whiffs in your range, and turn is a good time to bet those to get V off of 88 or whatever.
River is probably a fold unless you have reason to think V would go for value with worse, but I think most will not. Holding a pure bluff-catcher, calling isn’t better than break-even unless you have reason to think V will bluff excessively, and in my experience that isn’t true of many players, especially not in spots like this.

thanks for confirming my analysis that i played this hand terribly bad 😀
That’s definitely not my conclusion, and you’ve probably seen enough of my posts on here to know that I will say that in so many words if I think someone really bungled something. I think that at every decision point in this hand, the EV difference between the most obvious two options (e.g. bet or check flop, call or fold river) is quite small. Such spots tend to produce the most hand-wringing because it’s hard to make a case for one play over the other, but in actuality they don’t matter very much precisely because it doesn’t much matter what you do.
