are you saying that a person had ace of clubs and missed ?
I think at the beginning of a tourney, with a minraise and pot odds, you may end up getting smoked by bigger flushes in the long not withstanding the flop that occured.
you see it in lots of time that a person raises jack high flush or 78 flush and get beat by king or ace high flush.
your minraise got 3 callers so i would be wary of a person having the ace of clubs flush.
i am more inclined to paly ace of clubs x if it was suited the exception being that it is ace king off suit or ace queen off suit but they would 3bet preflop to narrow the field.

I would play it exactly the way you did. It is unlikely that the CO has a hand that he needs to bluff with on the river and will check back very often. CO could turn some hands into a bluff on the river, but I don't think that is common enough to warrant a river check. Versus randoms, it is usually best to just go for three streets of value with your strong hands and hope they call you down too much. You would loose too much value from Ax and even AK and AQ by checking this river.
Your sizing postflop is perfect considering the spr on the river. The only thing I would do differently is probably fold preflop considering you have to get through six players.
