History between me and villan has been mostly in my favor with him folding before show down. The only hand I've shown down for 40 mins. is QQ when I won a monster pot of AJ/AK<QQ.

I think its hard to say without more info on villian. In general i dont think its a good 4 bet shove spot but if villian has been playing agg 3 betting lightly then it might be a good spot.
Opening a wide range UTG is probably not good with only 30bb because of this type of scenario. What do you do when you get raised, even if you think villain is full of shit? You don't have enough chips to take a flop. So if you shove and get called, you've got about 33% equity at best. Your edge in this tournament is probably too big to take an iffy spot like this.

no way i shove here unless i have significant reads that button can 3bet me light here a good portion of the time and my UTG range is viewed as loose. his 3bet sizing also looks pretty strong.
Using the handy TPE_EV_Calcs spread sheet doc I got from you guys I was able to run this hand's equity's and I found out how bad my shove actually was.
The hole reason I joined this site was to improve on a lot of type things I was flying by the seat of my pants on from just game experiance. I knew I was making mistakes and leaking chips. This is not the first leak TPE has helped me with and most likely won't be the last.
