I thought about raising all in but i didn’t think i would get a caller, so i figure a pot commiting raise should get me reraised by a commiting ace, or jack queen, i needed to double up plus the old saying “if they would fold for pot , then they might fold for less”, so i figure to either take the blinds or prepare to flip for it, i was already in the money and this was the best hand i had in a while.
so was this good move, or just all ?
Flop: (t27157) J, 8, 7 (2 players, 2 all-in)
Turn: (t27157) K (2 players, 2 all-in)
River: (t27157) 5 (2 players, 2 all-in)
Total pot: t27157
I think he would of called regardless does it matter?
Results below:
BB had 6, 6 (one pair, sixes).
Hero had A, Q (high card, Ace).
Outcome: BB won t27157
Ya this is defenetly a shove. I think a raise actually looks a little scarier then a shove so the best way for you to get called here by a lessor ace is a shove. Because with a M this small people have you on a very wide shove range. If you try to get tricky with a raise people my be inclined just to lay down ace 9 so they dont run into a monster. This is a shove for me without question.
