Ey guys….  I feel like I've hit a bit of a brick wall…. I find myself most of the time running deep in this tournament and I've taken it down a couple of times but lately i'm busting when I'm in a good position to make the final table… busting in the last 60  players left when I was chip leader….. even though it's micro I use sharkscope  when i'm making it deep and usually I have 2 or 3 good regular winning players sitting at my table..

Been 8 max I'm able to be agressive early  on and accumulate chips…. I  find i get less played back at than 9 seat tournaments….. now when we reach  the late stages the bubble where the average stack is about 30 BB and I have a 65 BB stack I try to pick my spots light 3 betting on the bttn…. defending my blind against frequent stealer.. trying to outplay villain post flop…. 3 betting from bttn raise on BB…… etc…. I find certain players moving up gears and opening more widely and more regularly in these stages and these players usually don't have many hands on me as I dont have many hands on them…. but lately my bluffs are getting called when I believe i represent a hand  well… my 3 bets are been 4 bet shoved over by villain who is opening very wide… but I can't call off half my stack with A8s on the button… so mentally I'm thinking tonite when I reach this stage again to just play good hands and try not to maintain my big stack because every time I'm trying to maintain it I feel like i'm spewing my chips…. I will post 2 example hands of what I'm talking about….. and my question is am I doing anything  wrong or playing badly?

Im new here forgive me if I broke any forum rules… I just woke up and I skimmed through the  sticky and I don't think I broke any of the rules… feedback appreciated

This is the same villain I think an orbit later … he is opening constant from late position and very wide…. do I have to wait for a good hand to exploit him? is this spewy? or am I just unlucky i ran into a time he has a hand? or is he outplaying me? my image at this table is tight…….

Before I seen what he had at the bottom of the post I put him on a pair of 7’s, A7 maybe, having hearts or diamonds seems more unlikely since he would probably bet the turn with a flush draw hoping to take it down so after that I lean more towards a weak to decent 7 or weak queen so a naked 7 seems most likely, and he can’t put you on a pair of queens the way it played out unless you are know to bet top pair on the flop then shut it down on the turn. Him checking the flop and you betting he can put you on a queen, but once the turn comes and it goes check check he has to think his 7 is good, especially when the second flush draw shows up and you don’t bet, the story you were trying to tell doesn’t add up, if you fired another bullet on the turn I think you take it down most of the time. The backdoor FD is not too scary, in the end you would have saved more money betting the turn and taking it down a higher percentage of the time than reraising the river on a backdoor FD scare card with the story not seeming to add up…. what do you think?

yeh I agree with you my story didn't add up….. I should've fired the turn….. it's a leak in my game and it puts me on tilt… to be  honest when he called my flop bet I didn't put him on a Q… i put him on maybe a A7 or low pocket pairs and out of  impatience and wanting to win every pot I'm in i tried to take it down with a story that was not believable…. dude does anyone on here do hand reviews together using team viewer or whatever….. I would love to have someone to go through hand reviews with… thanks for reading my post and commenting…

I think you're out of position and don't need to spew chips in this spot.  This tourney is full of soft players.  But once you have a nice stack, keep it, don't give away the chips.  Just remember, what is the STORY you are trying to tell.  You bet the flop, so you're saying I have a Q, 7 or diamonds, when you chk the turn, I don't think you have a Q now. and never put you on hearts cause you would bet the turn.  Ultimately I think you should have definetly folding once he bet the river, no need to spew 10k more.  Better spots for that in my opinion.  Especially in this tourney.  It's all about learning.  I hope you crush teh next bunch of tourneys sir.
