so a bit of background. The villain is 24/21 over 65 hands. Very aggressive has noticed me opening a lot of hands and has 3 bet me 4 times out of 8. i folded the first 3 then 4 bet him the last time and he folded. He never previously flatted me.

I guess my questions are

1) does his flat preflop always necessarily indicate stronger hand seing as he 3bet me so frequently or does the bubble factor and my history with this guy make him play more cautiosly.

2) given that his range (in my eyes) consists mainly of overpairs, does he do this often enough with AQ+ to warrant a call. ( i dont think a set is likely since he knows i i am able to fold after showing aggression and he wouldn't try chasing me off the hand with a shove)

3) would check/shoving the flop be a better option?

4) is check folding the flop 'awful'?
