Hey TPE Fam… This is first hand of FT and I guess my question here is….Open Stuff or fine as played? IMO I played the hand pretty std just unlucky when I get flatted by this guy in the CO with less than 9bb and binks the flop. I was really expecting to see him turn over AA here..

i think you can limp/shove because everyones around 10bb to 15bb's.  Or just open shove.  UTG first hand at final table with this many shortys i limp though.  As played i check/raise the dry flop if no action there i lead turn for 3/4

i just jam my entire opening range here to keep balanced

(like 22+ Ax+ K6s+ Q8s+ etc etc)

if villain can call with this stack size then he's calling a jam pre w QJ anyways so result would never change

just horrible dealinglaugh

I'm shoving this short all Hands mostly to be able to shove wider and get peopel to call me when I have these hands.  A bit less shallow, say aroudn 20BBS I will be opening as you did some hands to induce shoves

I would open/shove with our stack size at the FT.

open shovesky!!  Hides your range and can get worse hands to call…It screams monster here imo.  Best of luck at the tables.

unless you have an image of being a donk fish who raise folds with 10bb and other weird stuff, i think raising here is very exploitable…ur hand is face up. although it doesnt seem that way since the fish flatted QJ….but for the most part against decent players, it wont work. shoving your entire 10-12bb range balances your range and forces them to adjust calling correctly.

Well…..if there's players at the table bad enough to flat QJ at this stack size, I actually don't mind a standard open. Might be more profitable.

However, this being the first hand at the FT, it's hard to have made that read already. Open shove is standard. I don't hate a limp either, although to a good player you're pretty face up when you do that.
