I’m a bit rusty when it comes to my ranges in these spots against early position openers. Is this a bit loose?

9.5%, 66+ ATs+ AJo+ KJs+ QJs about right?

$11 freezeout ACR, villain is a random only 25 hands at the table 16/17/0.

I think you would be more likely to be called by an ace because you don’t have an ace blocker.

I know this is a dumb question, but as an aside, how can you have a PFR higher than VPIP?

He’s essentially raising more than he is calling bets.

So, the times one raises does not contribute to your VPIP, it is just your PFR. Unless I’m misunderstanding :D.

Tough to say. Versus a random KQo is one of the weaker hands I’d be comfortable shoving here – in fact it might be closer to a fold. I think I’d have to make a decision based on population tendencies (i.e. your reads on the player pool in this particular tournament) and it really could go either way.

As far as your overall 9.5% range goes, that might be a little loose versus what we can expect to be a fairly tight EP opening range. Try running the hand through HoldemResources Calculator (you might have to build it from scratch, don’t know if HRC can copy hands from ACR) and see what you get.
