1st hand post in forum; let me know if formatting is wrong.  At the time I was in the top 25 I believe and we were 4 away from the money.  I had a nitty image as I had a VPIP/PFR of 14/9 approx.  This guy had repopped 3 out of the last 4 hands (none of which were against me) and seems to be just abusing the bubble.  I didnt feel comfortable getting it in this close to the bubble and with a good sized stack.  Poker Buddy thinks I am nuts for folding.

formatting is great

to be honest, with your reads, i would be snap shoving here – if you are going to raise-rold queens here, you may as well be open folding them.

the goal in the tourney is always to win (or top 3) – min cashing is a consolation prize, and the difference in this spot between a min cash and a bubble will do nothing to your long term ROI, which will be almost exclusively rely on final table finishes. so i would be breaking my arm off to get it in here, and if you get cooled well so be it, load up another and keep grinding 😀

(small side note – i would probably be opening for 1600-1800 instead of the full 2.5x at this stage of the tourney – 2.5x is ok but definitely no more)

Yea, especially w/ him appearing to be dominating the bubble, shove all day on him.  If your stats are nitty, that's even more reason to shove over him.  +1 to benny on bet sizing, I like 2.2ish

This is my favorite answer of all…3rd best starting hand in poker and you´re second guessing yourself cuz villain has shown aggression and taking advantage of the situation..Been the bubble and all he´s doing a great job pushing everybody around and making fold better hands most of the time (im sure about this)..And he´s doing such a great job of abusng the bubble that you are considering folding QQs against him cuz i believe flatting is out of the question (as it should be folding too)…And FYI i would flat AA and KK and let villains aggression do the betting for me.

jammerhouse! I like that you are aware of the bubble and recognize his aggresion but.. for this reason you need to be jamming. If min cash is important here, you may want to level down so that the money doesn't dictate your play.
