Would like some comments on this hand. I go for a cbet as I think I can rep the king and the pot here a lot of the time, plus given how he's played I I'm still in front of his range which is very wide. I'm leaning towards a call on the river, as I can't see I'm beat often. The only thing that would make some sense is a ten, but I think he'll bet those on the turn often too. He'll bet a king on the turn, so I'm leaving that out of his range. To sum up I see his range consist of a lot of bluffs and only few hands that beat me. What do you think about those thoughs and a call? Also I would like comments on the cbet, as I'm a bit unsure if that was the right decision.

A few thoughts for you sir.  First off, I'm open rippin the flop.  You have 19bb's unless I'm missing something.  I would think that a $30mtt would have pretty good players in it.  But, you raise, ok.  Flop………  the flop is pretty bad, and you only have 17bb's left.  I think that flop hits him a bunch. But with your stack, i would make your bet slightly less, why not 2200 and save some chips.  then the way it's played out………….  He bets 4000 and you call………  leaving yourself with 10k if you lose the pot.  unless you have a great read on this person how can you call that riv and leave yourself that short if your wrong.

I'd rather you jam pre or shit it on the flop and rep the K or diamonds………  You had 19bb to start the hand.  Gain those 2400 chips pre and move on to the next hand.  Being greedy can get you in trouble just like spewing small amounts of chips in bad spots when you don't need to.

Lets say 3 hands from now you get AA and only have 10k…………. you're up against the CL.  Instead of doubling to 40k, you only double to 20k.  You have to play smart and not spew small amounts of chips.  Hope that helps.

Is 88 an open rip w 5 left to act behind? I seem to remember the math on this being unfavorable.
