Hi,

Villan is running 38/27, 2.7AF over 215 hands. He is very aggro but on the donkey side I guess (always raising 3 times the BB, cbetting 3/4 pot everytime, calling station…). I could have barrel the turn but I had some kind of showdown value and as I said he was aggro and I really did'nt want to get check/raise by a draw or a seven.

On the river his bet really looked like a blocking/thin value bet with 7x or 6x and my hand wasn't probably good at this point so I decided to shove, I know I'm not representing that much but I could have J6, J7, J4, JJ and I can play some nutz like that (77, 66, 85…). Maybe not a play I would make against a good thinking player.

Is this play ok or is this totally ugly?

ty^^

Hi mate,

By the time you hit the river its looking pretty ugly and I dont know where your at. With him being loose the board smashes a lot of his range. I think I would 2 barrel and bet the turn but if he calls and fires the river I'd give it up. The shove on the river definitely is a bit kamakaze. Do you know what he had?

I shove because I think he doesn't have a lot of Q and J in his range and his sizing really looks weak. I pretty sure he bets more with TP or better on the river, put him on a 6 or a 7. But yes i'm not representing that much I know and it's probably a bit kamikase as you said.

knowing the payout structure and how fast and when the blinds will be going up would be helpful

imho if we think he is a station and we have cbet, im basically done with the hand, why would you want to try and bluff someone who you said has a habit of not folding? How do you think his range reacts to a small 2nd barrel that threatens to leverage your stack by making him think there is a good chance you will shove the river? What do you even think his value betting range would be on the river?
