3 handed on FT of $30r

1st $6110

2nd $3877

3rd $2937

zlicker had been really tight on FT bubble and most of the final table. He won a big pot and got some chips 5 handed and started to open up, 3betting and opening alot. 4 handed we got into a pot BvB where I open, he flatted and I b/c a dry J high flop and folded to his turn bet. Seems like he's just putting pressure on me with these stacks.

I had been really active on FT bubble, then pretty quiet at the start of the FT but had been opening and 3 betting alot from 6 handed down, also saw me cold 4b and get folds, saw me r/f + 3b/f a few times..

What is the best option here?

I think you should fold and heres why. This guy might be putting pressure on you, and rightfully so, but I dont think this particular hand is worth going further. My first thought was to say flat since we are so deep, but I think that is a bad idea. I feel that since you have such a good stack 3 handed, that in this 3 handed battle you can pick the best spots and avoid these unnecessary ones. Take advantage when you are btn and bb. Granted we are not letting him do this to us repeatedly but this time i say we let it go.

This is a very interesting spot because of the presence of the short stack.  If zlicker is good, and thinks you're good, he's using ICM to screw with you since you should be aware of the how important the money jumps are.  I'm going to assume based on your description of the situation that this is very possible.

I don't like folding here.  3 handed your hand has great strength.  If you 4 bet here It's going to bloat this pot OOP and potentially open you up to a 5 bet that you can't stand given that short stack.  So while I hate playing OOP I think in this case your hand strength is worth it.  We're clearly F'd if we flop an Q or K and he has AK or AQ but that's just one hand that we're up against here.

Doubt Id be folding here. I think that we are getting 3 bet light here way more often then we are getting 3 bet by a hand that dominates ours. This guy is going to 3 bet alot of hands that he will fold if we 4 bet big showing that were committing ourself to the pot. I think hes folding alot of hands that are marginally better then ours and also folding alot of hands he 3 bet light with. Hes folding any air obviously but prolly also folding hands like a10 aj even Same hand as ours kq plus marginal pp's like bigdog's. Giving the fact that the one guy not in the pot is really short this guy is not going to get involved to often here for all his chips. I like 4 betting big and calling a shove. If he rolls over JJ its gg him as I doubt KQ of spades loses this flip.

Yea I thought he could be lite here and using ICM against me. I ended up 4b'n small and he snap shoved so I folded. Was mad, beacause I gave him a perfect 5b shove spot and realised as soon as I made the 4b. I think the guy is gonna be aggro and putting pressure on post flop if I flat OOP, so didn't want to do that, 4b big and go with it seems good, was wondering wether that or shove was best, takes the play away from him, but seemed like a bit of a big shove.

I don't mind getting it in here. KQs with three players left is a good hand.

Since i dont think im gonna be calling a 5bet jam from villain im flatting here and seen a flop, KQs is a hand thats flops really well and most of the time im gonna be check/calling any flop and villain will be force to either make a big mistake on the turn or give up the hand at this point if he was in fact 3betting ligh preflop.

4bet/calling here is probably pretty terrible here given the shortstack and ICM and the fact that people just don't really 5bet light.

i think it's pretty close between flatting and 4b/folding.

if he's been playing honestly postflop then i'd lean towards calling. if he's prone to barrel and put us in tough spots post flop then i like 4b/fold.

and if you are 4b/calling then 4betting big is just awful as it's going to tighten his 5betting range. if your plan is to 4b/call then surely you need him to have as wide a range as possible which just isn;t going to be the case if you make a big, committing 4bet.

also, i think limp/calling or limp/raising here are both decent options if villain is as aggro as described.

if villian is aggressive i limp/call.  if a K or Q flops our hand is extremely deceptive.
