Just wondering how other people would have played this hand.
I have only been at the table for around 10 hands, no reads on the CO raiser, only seen the SB raise and call raises with 98s and 98o from mid to late position
Kind of preferred just calling behind seeing as I would have position on the SB at least, but interested to see if people would raise here.
Decided to check behind on the flop as I didnt want to get check raised. Thought the sb bet on the turn seemed weak as he may bet more with AK,AQ, and that if he had an overpair or AJ he would have bet flop?
Is this a spot to maybe r/f the river?
Comments on all streets appreciated
Cheers
I 4 bet this hand pre to about 2650, I dont want to be playing 1010 in a three way pot here. The cut off is prob opening light a lot of the time and by just calling the SB raise ur giving the CO good odds to call with any two and by letting him call u will b oop to him as well. If the CO folds you have position in the hand and have taken control of the pot.
Confused as to what the SB is min raising with pre, but by 4 betting i think i would get to assign his range better by how he reacts to my 4 bet. Some players will min raise any A at these stakes.
As played, once checked to me by the SB i would lead the flop.

this is a pretty crappy spot. dont really like flatting, but i dont like 4betting either because you are turning your hand into a bluff. or even if one of them decides to flat with AK or AQs you will still find it really hard to play
At these stakes, I think the sb who min 3b a lp opener almost never has TT+ AJ+ here. Most of the times these guys do this with no plan and I think they couldn't give you a good reason why they would do this as shown by the sb here. If he minr'd just to take the initiative, wouldn't he cbet to take what's in the middle?
I would 4b to almost 3x like John said and cbet just about any board. It would kinda suck if we were 5b, but I don't think it happens often enough to worry about it. If the sb called our 4b and folded to a cbet, I would note that and iso him more often afterwards.
