I had only been at this table for 4 hands, but “patmobiel” had opened 3 of 4 hands so far. my thinking here was by 3 bet shoving (and getting folds) I am gaining 1025 to my stack (8.25%). I am not sure if the risk to reward ratio was worth it here. Obviously the SB woke up with KK, so good game me. With this being 6 handed, was this a plus EV or a negative EV considering I had 34BB? thanks again,

I don't like the shove here, because you had three people left to act after you and pocket fives are not a strong hand preflop when not in position.  I usually limp or will call a normal raise with them in hopes of set mining.  IMO this is a post flop hand to be aggressive with, if the board is right, unless I am <10BB, in position or have a solid read on opponents a limp or reasonable flat is my course of action.

You have 2 big stacks behind that might wake up witrh a hand and you will be 20% to be out of the tournament when you have 34 bbs to play with.  I like a call here and see where your stand after the flop.  If you want to be aggresive you can 3 bet to say 1600 and isolate the raiser playing after the flop IP.  if anybody 4 bets you know you are beinhd or at best flipping against an AK and you can lay it down.

Yeah, the more I think about this hand I don’t like the shove either. I think I have a descent stack here and there was no reason to shove at this point. Just wanted to hear your opinions. Thanks

I insta ship this at 13-25 bb's, maybe less if super aggro and a min raise… I fold here pretty quickly, no implieds on someone this aggro…

These are the hands you wish you could take back as soon as you hit the raise button. I had to many BB to be shoving here, especially because I had been playing well upto this point, I had no reason to do this. Oh and yes Isaacjames I ran into a monster, SB woke up with KK… good game me. thanks for the comments all.
