Hey

Reads on V is that they've been open/folding frequently. I've played with this opponent many times before and they are pretty much a fish.

just wanted to check if my sizing pre is okay against this opponent? as u have noticed V has made it 3bb pre and this has been their standard sizing.

imo i don't think we need to make the 3-bet sizing to big pre flop as a smaller size 3-bet will likely take it down.

The positive thing of a smaller 3bet size is that it’s cheaper to fold to his jam that I suspect come a lot from his stacksize.

What’s even better is to just fold them pre yo. You have a nice stack. That doesn’t mean you gotta play 54o OTB with a 3bet. There will be better spots.
Just my humble opinion.

Hey,

I recently adjusted my betting and using almost the same size. I am trying to keep it consistent. If you had showdowns with the same 3bet sizing with strong hands, then I would go with the same bet sizing.

As you say he is a fish, I dont think he will be able to detect the changes in your bet sizing and infer from it as good as an experienced player. With 45o out of position, I would have made it around 2.5-2.75x as I dont want to play a pot.

I would have made it almost the same (mine would be 1555, just a little over 2x) from the button though (this scenario). We can still represent a lot of things in position and outplay him without a hand.
