OK, so I have 3 BB (120k) and 4 are left, but due to the structure the other 3 players have no more than about 5-10 BB. I'm first to act and look down at 8,9 suited. Push or wait until the next hand? I folded and got AK on the next hand and was knocked out in 4th to 10,10 but that doesn't matter much. Thoughts?

What tournament was this? was it a satellite?
100% shoving 3bb with 98s. you shouldnt be letting yourself get this low before you find some shove spots

Easy shove with 98s. How likely are you to get a better hand in the big blind that is hitting you next ?
You should never go down to 3BB unless crippled after losing a pot to someone you covered and maybe the odd ICM situation where there are a couple of shorties with 1-2BB not pushing and large pay jumps.
Seeing how you folded I assume you have just been blinded away by playing super tight, I would strongly advise you to review the hands from the last 2 orbits, your pushing range should be very wide when folded to you as the short stack, push when you still have FE.
Getting AK with 3BB is nice but you are rarely over 65% favorite and the BB has odds to call you with any 2.
