I know you're all going to say, “Why didn't you raise pre?” Well… erm… I've been reading 'Winning Poker Tournaments…' where Pearljammer looks to limp 22-TT early in a tournament trying to flop big and double up, so that's what I tried here. When SB raises I really felt like he was trying to isolate all the limpers with AJs+ and TT+. Against the pairs I'm absolutely crushed, but if he has a strong Ace is it worth getting in here? I feel like a fold is the right option, but would love your thoughts.

SB was 35/26 over 34 hands, but had only raised 1/7 from the Blinds. 4/8 came from EP, 2/8 from MP and 2/11 from LP. Looking at his loose stats I feel 99 is ahead of most of his opening range, but well behind his calling range. Could you find a shove here or is it a simple fold?

personally i dont like open limping but since there is already 1 limper, i think its ok.

this is an interesting spot imo – SB is a huge stack so he could be doing this with any random stuff.

you definitely cannot flat here imo, because sb looks as though he will fire just about any flop making it hard for you.

i probably fold here most of the time, but looking at this specific hand, i think i can sometimes find a shove, although limp-shove is something i pretty much never do.
