Hey all.. I'm new to the site but not completely new to tournaments, however, I still have a ton to learn. I was wondering what your thoughts are on this hand.

Villain who shoves in SB playing fairly solid and haven't seen them get too out of line but they aren't completely nitting it up either.

I don't see how I can really fold but was wondering if anyone would or how close this spot really is?

Hard to fold but it is for half your stack. With no reads I think this is a call although he prop flopped nuts..

even if he has been playing solid, there's still a very good chance he's shoving smaller pocket pairs, and aces you dominate.  You're only afraid of three hands.  If you're wrong you still have 20 bigs to work with, and if you win you have 60bbs and can really do damage in this tournament.

Thanks for the replies. What if I had 1010 or in other words what would be the hand that would be the worst you all would call this with in this spot?  I was thinking JJ was a call which I made considering underpairs in their range, AK and maybe AQ but if I had 1010 or 99 I'm probably considering the fold.

Not that the result matters as it's irrelevant but he did have QQ and I binked the two outer on the river for the dirty win.

Always depends on situation/villan.. something like nines up + AK.

I like this answer a lot. I could follow Wein around just saying +1 to any reply he posts. He's my hero.
