the guy opening is a nut. may have been his first tourny ever. with 26bb should i be iso shoving this spot or is 26bb to much. i was more incline to shove because i was just in an all in spot where i picked off a small stacks blind steal attempt with KJ vs Q10 and was rivered. it could look like I'm on tilt and i get called lighter. is this the wroong way of thinking.

“it could look like I'm on tilt and i get called lighter”

I would be hoping they think i'm tilted. Tbh i'm a little confused about

what your asking.. Obv this shove is fine and 26 bb's isnt that much of an overshove when you shove over a 4X open. Dont question yourself if the brainfart did have a hand this time tho, it happens.

You are not shoving 26bb here since mp1 has about 16bb, sb and bb are also below that mark… So you are effectively shoving 16bb, and I don't see any other play except shove here…

exactly how you play Ak in this spot. fwiw when i find myself in these spots pre and i know i have to reraise i use what i refer to as the 10x rule. villains open raise is $2460 so 10x $2460= $24600 far exceeding your stack of $15794 so for me this situation is a shove and the fact that you hold AK is also a shove because you want to push the situation into a headsup and try to avoid a 3way pot which calling there could induce. with AA or KK i would flat and hope someone spazzes out behind.

Yeah, i like the shove with the AK here. It gets you a pretty good opportunity to go Heads-Up which is what you want. If this wasn't a player you had seen spaz out the 4x would raise a strange flag in my head, but for a player that has been spazing i jam it and move on.
