I surpose in this spot I am asking myself the question; am I happy to get it in with AQos and if yes, with whom and what will be the best way for me to achieve this objective and make good decisions ither pre or post flop…

I have posed the following scenario with your AQos:

Lets say we are Targeting the CO who we know has been playing really crazy and just punted a big stack down to under 10bbs so we know AQ off is well ahead of their 3 bet jaming or calling our open jam range and SB (who is gunna likely call with any 2)

Ok so I JAM…. And cool the CO calls, but BTN then button also calls, SB calls cause he might tripple up with his 9 5os and BB calls as well (and BB has been playing like a NIT so I know I am smashed) – I am not really loving this spot and there is a good chance I have punted a good portion of my stack.

Ok I open raise, then CO 3 bet Jams which is cool cause we wanted that, but then – BTN 4bet jams to iso, SB calls and the nitty BB also calls… What are you doing in this spot? are you calling with your AQ os?

So the reason I like open raising is that it gives me a chance to play poker and make some good decisions ither pre or post flop with AQos.

This.  Although I could see images we could have where shoving is better than simply raising.  it really depnds on flow and how you are percived, and this si something that is really hard o describe over a simple post and something you just pick up from playing and observing.

The differnce is negligble, so dont feel like you are missing out by not doing one over the other.
