small open > shove imo, i can't see AJ calling a shove, but then again i would also fold AJ to this open.  Open fold? just something to think about, not advocating it.

a lot of lags would shove AJ over our min open with 22 effective, i can see a lot of worse hands do this actually. maybe that is the way to go?

I'd just open here with 22bbs.  I'd open shove with 18bbs or less here.
