My opponent is a very good regular, has won over 200k+ but was playing 16/15 over 80 hands co open 60% fold to 3b 0/1. I have been very active lately, especially from the late positsions, have 3b a lot/4b once etc.

Tough spot but I think call we are looking to build a stack to win the tournament. He could have a very wide range here any pair , an over pair , a draw or a set possibly. I think 58 or 53 is not often in his calling range. so i dont think were ever against made straights. And he probably has you on broadway hand that has missed and he wants to take it down here. We have good equity against that range.
Just to clarify I’m no expert a newish micro stakes player myself. What was your thinking ? What do you think of call.

A bit of a weird hand given the stack sizes.
When you 3bet villain here I think he 4bets all-in with all of his value hands so the call behind makes me ultra suspicious.
However, if this guy had 4bet or jammed over the top of your 3bet then I assume you would go with it preflop so I don't really think this postflop action changes much. He could have called behind with hands like 88-TT and took a weird line or he could have AA-KK and played it tricky to get you to bet postflop. I guess he could even call behind with the plan of ck/r all-in any low flop on the basis that if you have unpaired cards you would probably have to fold. On balance, I'm all-in and if he has me beat then onto the next!
It is pretty difficult spot to be honest, if you had high 3bet frequency CO might just call your 3bet with his monsters, thinking that if you are 3beting him light, his 4bet shove won't get action often.
I think you should just do some calculations with pokerstove, you need 30% equty against him.
All in all, against good regular I think you could find a fold here, just because I don't see how can he be weak in this spot and I will be never folding vs weakish random player.
