hey
reads – v seems on the aggressive side , has opened up quite often.
I wanted to c/r flop but v never bet. On the turn i bet to get value from 9x 7x and jx, though i think v would bet any kind of draw OTF when checked too, so i guess they are highly discounted unless of course they play passively. This opponent seemed more aggro though. V probably has air once they check back flop or a marginal hand could be in their range.
on the river i wanted to go for a c/c line , i guess ingame i was thinking that there’s some chance they floated turn with a gut shot or a draw. so i thought there’s more merit in c/c and letting them bluff those rather then going for thin value. I don’t think a c/c line is terrible here though its just that I think there’s more merit in value betting since there could be quite a few 9x in their range.
Sizing on the river?
All thoughts would be appreciated.
cheers.
cheers!

By the time we get to the river I feel really good about our hand. I kind of like making the same bet, one that might induce him to bluff raise. Make it 125,000 again, then call his raise if he makes it. When you make two back to back small bets like this of the same amount, it screams weak value, (like a naked Ten in this hand) and I think a lot of players will raise you here.

For them to bluff raise river , would you consider that good play though? v line would not make any sense given the action post flop. i’d like to point out that this is bvb so both opponents ranges are going to be extremely wide almost always. So v should not really bluffing to often dont you think?

I believe you said this in one of vid that you should not bluff too much in bvb, i think it was in your bluffing series? i guess an argument would be that if both opponents ranges are wide its ok to have a wider bluffing range , v should fold more often then not don’t you think?

There’s no intrinsic reason why both players having wider ranges should lead to a higher bluffing ratio for one player or the other. Wider ranges will usually lead to a larger number of combos being both bluffed and value bet simply because you will have more combos in your starting range. Sometimes the line between bluff and value bet can be blurred as well, on early streets, as many hands, like second pair with a good kicker, could be ahead of a calling range and still benefit a lot from an opponent’s folds.
