Hi guys, firstly please accept my apologies because the Converter didn't like the PKR HH – I did watch the tutorial video and try to convert but it didn't like the format, so this isn't just laziness.

The villain is a PKR regular – a bit nitty/passive, does the odd strange (bad) thing lilke l/f with shallow stacks – not a good player by any means but by PKR standards generally has some idea.

I've no real history with him, he's new to my table.  He probably knows that I am a winning player on PKR and not the typical PKR fish (I am a Stars fish but not a PKR fish! smile), but not much more.

I've hidden my cards because I'd like to consider this from the villains perspective – what does he put me on, what does he call with?

I can then reveal my hand and we can discuss my play with my specific holding and we'll see if we can get some further discussion going perhaps.

Thank you.

Edit: I should add we are approaching the money – approx. 100 left, 80 paid, loads super shallow.

A nitty player is not calling down a 20bb stack with anything less than a monster here if he things you are solid. Looks like a boat or possibly AA since he is passive to me. He he thinks you are bluffy, throw in Ac8c, 99-TT.

Thank you for replying.

I've opened a 19BB stack in MP1, with 4 re-steal stacks behind, I'm committed to one of them and the BB has chips so I can't be too light.

That said, whilst I can never be light here in theory, this is PKR and the re-steal stacks aren't likely to abuse me, so my range doesn't have to be as tight as it otherwise should be.

I don't think anyone at the table gets to that level of thought process, I think that they get to “he has opened 19BB's in MP1 with re-steal stacks behind”, maximum.  In all likelihood the majority will have no regard for stack sizes, or thinking about it, as we are here.

My perception of DevineAngel was that he would have an awareness of my strength.

My Cbet is small – about 1/3 pot on a dry board with shallow stacks.  I think the sizing of it does widen his peeling range. This Cbet sizing with these stacks is a bit experimental  – it costs us less, obviously, but we lose some amount of FE – thoughts?

I then bet turn, it being a bad card to barrel, which strengthens my range – agreed?

We get to the river and I jam – what can I have?  What can he call with?

Given my MP1 open with 19BB's, re-steal stacks behind, small turn bet on bad barrel card, river jam, just before the money – I am huge, right? (I will reveal whether I am or not in due course! smile).

The jam polorizes my range and no bluffs get there, do they?

Please pick holes in my logic by all means! smile

Im so confused by who you are in this hand. Any was the 20bb stack that opens and continues on every street probably started tight and was helped by the board. I would say something like an overpair, trips, or set.

Sorry, I am GfoRce009 in the hand.

I think when I jam river my range is polorized and my value range should consist of trips minimum (I may be wrong here, but I don't think AA jams there).

So I am representing a narrow value range but I shouldn't really have a bluffing range when I bet that turn.

This was my thinking.

Villain snapped with TT and it really surprised me.
