V after me has flatted me a few times. The first time it was AA. My float was pretty loose, but his bet could just be positional.
No read on the main V in the blinds.

Easy fold on river – I’m not even sure raising is a good idea.
I also think flop is close. I can see a case for betting or for check-folding (given this action).
You shouldn’t consider a bet “just positional”. Yes, his position enables him to bet more hands profitably than he could from another position, but it doesn’t mean he can or will bet absolutely anything. It’s important to recognize that he’ll probably bet most hands better than yours, so even if he does have a few bluffs in there (which, importantly, will often be stuff like KT or T9 with significant equity) that doesn’t necessarily mean you should call.

I ended up folding and kicking myself for raising instead of just calling the river.
The thing I didn’t think about before making that raise in-game is what do I do if I get c/r (no plan. it wasn’t even on my thought-radar). As played, The only hand that really makes sense here that:
1. leads the river
2. that I am still ahead of
3. will call a raise
…is probably exactly QJ, which may feel ahead after we all checked the A. That is not even a range. That is 1 exact hand. Very thin value target right?
The kind of hands that flat from the blinds twice and then lead the river and shove over a raise seem like straights and sets and almost no bluffs in my mind.
When I raised I guess I was hoping for some sort of hero call from any pair or weak A. While that is probably not bad thinking if checked to me, why would one of these thin-showdown-value hands lead out in to 2 people instead of c/c? Maybe some bad players might, but a call would have been fine by me.

It’s good to consider that, but really I think the central problem is what you go on to say, that you didn’t figure to be a favorite even if called. If Villain’s shove is never a bluff (which I believe), then you don’t lose anything by folding to the shove. As long as he will call the raise with enough worse hands to make up for the times he shoves, it is fine and correct to raise for value and fold to a shove.
You’re thinking about this hand well, I just don’t want your take away to be “don’t raise if you can’t call a shove”.
