$2.20 100 to bubble. Was it correct to shove 20bb's after min raise.

Hi all,

Been at table for 17 hands MP2 has been active but can fold.

Myself however, have been very active. The first hand I got in 20bbs effective with QQ. The forth hand 30bb's AKs. My stack was reduced to about 6 bigs and I've picked up a couple of pairs that held and brought my stack back to about 26bb's when there has been a blind increase. So very active.

Folding is out. 3bet calling is ok but if villian just calls and the flop comes low I fire a cbet and he raises, then what. I could check/jam but I already have and over agro image. Jamming seems to be an overbet with an active player.

I did choose to jam, but even doing it, it didn't seem right.

Was it???

Taking in to account how active you had been and the stack size of your villian, imo its push or fold. Given your stack size and table image I think a push is gonna get looked up in this spot. If you want to flip at best get it in. I know you said folding is out but between these two options if jamming feels to be an overbet then I would fold.

If understood correctly you are 100 players away from the bubble with 20 BBs, If that is correct and assuming you are playing to win or at least to final table I like your shove especially because your have been so active since IMO you will be looked up by a wider range that would include Aces you dominate (It would be good if the pros comment on what range they think you would be called with with this image). Il say though that It would be a better decision knowing the structure, how fast will the blinds be increasing etc….
