Im not sure on how to proceed with this hand on these type of boards, any suggestions appreciated. Here I just called the turn and river because of my opponent's bet size.
Should I bet more on the flop? Pre? Just fold on the turn?
Ty in advance!!

Pretty gross board for KK because I can't think of a single hand he keeps betting that you beat unless he has A9 and stinks.

What do people think about bet/folding the turn so keep the lead on the hand and don't just play out the last two streets passively and maybe lose more than necessary?

I would maybe check the turn and re-raise his river bet and fold to a shove. I dunno I'm just a noob.

I think you have to make a decision on the turn….any time you're faced with calling a turn bet, and you feel you're going to have to call the river too, put those chips to use on the turn (same money….), and raise the bettor.  If he calls, you check the river and fold to a bet.  If you're lucky, he's still drawing on the turn and may check behind on the river when he misses as the 3 peels off.  Anyone else have a comment?

I probably bet turn fold to a raise. If called check river and evaluate his bet size.  I dont like leading flop and check raising turn. What are you representing?  That you made your straight, if you did why check raise there?  That line doesnt make a lot of sense to me.

I agree with you and would normally not check the turn out of position.  I would fire the turn.  But given that he did check on the turn, I like a raise of villain's turn bet better than simply check/calling it down.  Put the same chips to use on the turn and force him to define his hand (did you make the str8?  now you have to answer me).  Villain might simply be floating and trying to take it away on a drawy board (esp if we are perceived as tight, esp with his deeper stack).  A check raise on the turn represents strength, which we certainly have, unless he's got a made hand, which we're going to find out right now.  I guess I was thinking less about representing a hand at that point than about getting information about his hand.  Totally bad??

100% agree with this.  Might even just fold the turn but that would be something i decided on reads/timing tells.  However, definitely agree that you need to decide what to do about this hand on the turn and not just call because putting in 3k accomplishes nothing.
